The first time I saw your name I read it as “The Ant is on NY”. In my defense, that matches your love of the grotesque and B-movie ethos. Anyways.
I’m liking this story so far. It promises to be better than “After Midnight”. I’m not a fan of the whole MMO style choices but they don’t ruin it for me either. I haven’t warmed up to Micah much yet, or Fletch, so I guess that vouches for your well written plot and realized setting. I like Marin so far, because I felt like Micah and Astrid were a little too similar to Gordon and Carla – Marin seems like she could become a very different kind of character, who relates to Micah in a very different way.
So, I hope you continue to write this. I have no idea where it’s going (except some potential confrontation with the Mist later on). I’d like to see a bit of warming up between Micah and Fletch, if only to ease the brutality of the world they live in.

Please continue writing this story! I don't really like that Micah seems to be that interested in the Kierna already since I like more independently strong characters but the story line is keeping me interested. I hope you update soon!

I am so happy that you got the next chapter out!
I would like to point out, though, that the third paragraph from the bottom is in need of some editing. It's kind of a mess and a little confusing. There's a few more things but nothing as bad as that paragraph.

Ahhhh that was so satisfying seeing as I just finished my unit too : )
I really rate all the streams of dialogue in this one, especially between Micah and Fletch because the inner monologue of a reserved/untalkative character matches up with what and when he speaks. And Fletch is so consistently filthy : )
