This story has taken me for such an emotional ride, I don't even know where to begin or how to properly articulate myself.
First of, the flow of this story was perfect. Nothing felt overly rushed and the drama was peppered in nicely but wasn't overly done.
Jayden: I usually don't like narsasistic characters, and harbor an even bigger no-no for assholes but there is just something about this character that made me fall in love with him kicking and screaming. He accepts who he is and is unapologetic about it. I think its beautiful that it took him falling in LOVE to want to be a better person; not for himself, but for Lachlan. Yes he's self centered, conceited, and has a massive ego but he can be sensitive, loyal to his friends and caring.
Lachlan: I could drown in a sea of emotion when it comes to this boy. I love how open he is, how fiercely he loves Jay, and how easily he captivates people's hearts. On the other hand I can see how his cluelessness and single mindedness can drive Jay crazy. He has a big heart and is completely smitten with his love. I love how strong he is physically and morally but also how sensitive he is.
Friends and crew: I don't know why I don't really like Chloe, but there's something I just don't like with her choosing Mark. Mark is a total beef cake that I could oddly also see being romantically with Jaydon in the beginning. Derek, I don't know why but I feel strongly for him. It's awful that he's having a sexuality crisis and I have a feeling he's in love with Jaydon. An evil part of me - the part I like to lock away under the stairs - is crazily interested in seeing him with Jaydon. I'm sick in the head.
Plot twist: I don't know why but I have a feeling that the Weasal isn't done with trying to get Lachlan. I was kind of thinking that he might trying seducing him and Jaydon catching him and assuming incorrectly that something was going on. I wouldn't be surprised if they were rooming together and catches them kissing. Derek reconciles with Jay and they have a drunken hot make out session.

That line way back when, when Chloe is all "why should I comfort you? There are wars going on and you want me to comfort your first world problems?" Or something, that was hardcore paraphrasing, made me laugh out loud. Jay should say that to Derek, passing on the wisdom and shit lmao.
I really like this story, it's hilarious and mostly realistic. Except for the use of "coz", otherwise this is basically one of my favourite pieces on this damn website.

That's how you know Alice is an honestly shitty human. That goes far beyond regular brother-sister feuds, she wanted him out of her life and their house because she simply wanted attention. I'm a middle child, I get the being-forgotten shit, but I would never ever wish for my either of my siblings to be kicked out for their preference. I really don't like Alice, nothing so far up to this point has made my dislike waver, lmao.
