This is fantastic. It takes a lot to get me interested in characters within the first few thousand words, and you've done it. I love their interaction, their banter, and the balance of tension and connection between Thomas and Samuel.

Aww, I love this so far. ^ ^ I've been looking for something like this and this is exactly what I had in mind. You're doing a really good job making them just /friends/ at the moment, and I love the little flustered glimpses of Thomas. I definitely encourage you to keep writing this, because I will definitely continue reading! I don't usually read in this tense, but you're doing really well and not getting verb-tenses confused. Again, keep at it! ^ ^
