This is really beautiful. This is especially good, because it's not corny or tongue-in-cheek. It's really interesting how you use a variety of different images/metaphors/similes, from natural to household. It sort of reminded me of T.S. Eliot a little. I forget the title of the poem, but he uses a variety of different images, but they are all connected and create a central message. Your poem does the same thing. Awesome job!
