I understand that realistically, if I were put in that situation I'd have outright shat myself but it's just that GAH ELENA DOESN'T DO ANYTHING SHE REMINDS ME OF A GAPING FISH BLAAAAAARGH it kind of sort of annoys me but at the same time I'm like: "Hushhushnow Sue, be realistic about ittt"

Has it been 50 chapters already?
Love the action and the suspense and all the little bits after Lawson woke up. I am very amused every time somebody points out that besides Lawson, Phinn is second most person Elena worries (and thinks a lot) about. I hope Lawson gets an answer to his proposal before Elena does anything drastic.

Hi Chester,
The Kingdom of the Wind has a very good introduction. I do love stories about the medieval period. It is as interesting as the famous movies that I see about different kingdoms fighting. But I am wondering why there is a car in her dreams? Does Elena come from the future and went to the past? She is very mysterious and at the same time interesting.

Poor Elena:( I can't wait for the third installment and all the drama and angst that come with the decision that she's going to have to make. :] But seriously, this chapter might have been the most depressing yet;)

Oh my gosh! What a way to end it! I've really enjoyed this one, and can't wait for the third one (did a little dance when I remembered there was more fun to be had). I'm interested to see the Awakening from an outside perspective. I'm interested to see how the Sons treat Elena now that she's pretty much useless (sorry, dear). I mean, Anya can stick around because she's Phinn's mom, and Jenny is Quentin's wife. Maybe this will lead her to making a decision about marrying Lawson? And Phinn never said why Elena should marry Lawson...oh well. A lot of things were happening. No time for discussion haha. I'm SUPER excited for Book 3! I can't wait!

Hmm what will Elena do? This is a tough decision (one that would make me crawl under my bed and hide forever .). I mean, if Elena chooses to go to Dorn then they're pretty much wasting precious time. Plus there's a change that Hunt could find them again. On the other hand, Elena would have to abandon her entire life :( A part of me agrees with Ryder and Quentin (I don't want Elena to do anything she isn't willing to do herself), but then there's this morbid part of me that wants to see what would happen. If Elena "retires" then a whole new Chaste Beauty would awaken. I kind of want to see how the new CB would deal with everything Elena had to deal with in the beginning of book 1 (plus all this NEW horrible stuff that's happening haha). Would the Sons keep Elena around? I'm assuming yes because of her close ties with Lawson and Phinn (and Turner I guess). Another argument against Ryder/Quentin is that Elena's visions are becoming less and less useful. I mean, they led everyone into some pretty nasty situations...In other words: I need the next chapter like now lol

I feel so bad for all of them! They're all so pathetic right now. I got a little emotional with them all just sitting out there in the middle of nowhere in the rain:( I don't even know how the heck they're gonna get out of this mess, but hopefully it will be soon. They've been through enough already.

Well you're darn right nothings clear! But I guess we do know now that The Stranger and Hunt aren't the same person, and that Hunt didn't actually die. Other than that who knows what the heck could happen. Hopefully he's wrong about Elena not having very much time left. Please update soon!

Elena may be oblivious most of the time, but I like those moments when she realizes that most of the people she's around can be equally (and are usually) as dumb as her. I guess everybody thinks Elena is pretty stupid at times to. But I think it's just because she's from a different place than them.
Can't wait to see what they have to get through to find Lawson. I love this story!:)

Oh look it's Phinn! Such a dummy, but I like having him around. Except when he's punching Hayden. That sort of thing can be avoided. At least he's taking the initiative in finding Lawson. I'm really worried about what's happening with him. The poor thing can't even see :( Hopefully Phinn can start talking again. It must be uncomfortable not being able to shout at people to stop talking about you. Elena has tamed Phinn woahhhh! I can tell we're getting into some heavy and exciting stuff!
