So Hayden is like the anti-Phinn (haha)? I've noticed that the fantasy world seems devoid of any kind of passion. Like how Jenny and Quentin's marriage was mainly one of convenience, and how Hayden "retiring" the girls is very professional and business-like. I'mnot saying that Jenny and Q aren't in love, but I feel like that sort of happened gradually. Haha ignore my ramblings xD I just felt the topic of sex and virginity is treated rather lightly in this world. As a teenage girl I take those things really seriously. I'm glad that Elena has a good head on her shoulders (even if she doesn't always act like it lol). She isn't going to marry someone (who may or may not be real) just because it might be easy. Anya being banned from Dorn made me laugh. She is the definition of crazy be-yotch haha. I also laugh every time someone implies Elena is in love with Phinn. And more visions (?). Super excited for the next chapter~

Oh man, the king is such a man whore xD I feel kind of bad for Hayden since he could totally be a Son, but maybe it is better this way. And I also feel bad for Phinn because he had to be sedated (AGAIN). I wonder if his fear of sedation goes even deeper than just disliking being knocked out in his siblings's Kingdoms hmmm (stops speculating me!). I ALSO feel bad for Sage :( I bet all the dead mothers were really awesome. The ones who are alive are mean :P (is Quentin's mom alive? I can't remember...) Oh well! I'm kind of excited to see another actual place in the fantasy world (hopefully). And the drama over Law's marriage proposal (if you can consider that a proposal) continues! I really need some closure to this or I will explode haha. Phinn still needs to tell me *ahem* Elena why he wants her to go through with it. Sometimes I wish Elena was more assertive lol. But that's why we love her!

Well Hayden seems like quite an interesting person.
I sort of feel sorry for Sage. Her mother just died and she has to make sure not to get herself killed. And I kind of feel sorry for Elena too. Just because she's so oblivious to most of whats going on in this strange world she was thrust into too. It must suck to have everyone talking to you like you're stupid and bossing you around.

Okay I've changed my mind! This is now my favorite chapter *puts chap 18 on a shiny pedestal* The interaction between Phinn and Elena were so good. I loved the part where he said that he wasn't Elle's bodyguard, and she needed one from him. I thought that was very telling of how he percieves this "relationship" he has with her. Like Elena, I feel as if I have softened to Phinn over the course of the series. At first I didn't like him because his presense just screamed BAD GUY STAY AWAY! Then we got to see other parts of his personality and character, and I came to understand him a little bit more (especially after we met Anya blegh). I want to applaud you on how you've written Elena though. I like that she's not a tough action girl, and she actually is scared yet tries to help he best she can. That's really relatable to me. I also love reading your action sequences :) I can't write fights at all haha. Great chapter! It's great how quickly you update 3 The last line of this chapter gave me butterflies lol *shuts up now*

Awww. I loved the end of this chapter. Nice!Phinn is awesome :D Now Ryder just needs to prove to me that she can be nice too (I'm kind of miffed about her saying that Phinn attacked her even thought it was the complete opposite :/). I don't know why, but I'm a little suspicious of Hayden. Maybe it's because we don't know too much about him. What is his relationship to the others? Elena's nose theory intrigues me... I know I'm not the biggest Ryder fan right now, but I sincerely hope that she's not hurt.

Oh how I adore the breaking of the fourth wall ♥ Now I'm excited about Captain Hayden (and kind of wary seeing as Jenny kind of idolizes him haha. I wonder if it's because he helped her out back when she was a CB..?). Is it weird that I laugh whenever he addresses the Sons as Lords and Ladies? They have a habit of acting the complete opposite xD Also I get all giggly whenever Elena mentions Phinn kissing her that one time (what can I say? I'm a sucker for that kind of stuff haha). But why does Hayden looks so much like Quentin? Hmmmm! I'm eagerly awaiting the next chapter. Apparently more interesting things will be occurring!

Are you serious? Major cliffhanger right there! The first fantasy appearance of Mr. Hayden who apparently knows about Rachel (I'm assuming she was the Chaste Beauty before Elle?) Now I'm pumped. It seems like the ladies know him so the guys might know him too? I wonder what his role is? Perhaps he has something to do with the Clouds? Does this mean Alyssa could be in the fantasy? Haha, this is turning into a Q&A rather then a review. Great chapter nontheless. Ryder is kind of basses with the sword. Phinn might be disappointed that he didn't get to fight the Other though haha. I keep waiting for her to show up in the fantasy haha. At first I thought she was Jenny, but obviously that isn't true. Okay so this is probably my favorite chapter so far. I got kind of emotional reading it (emotional=screaming at Elena to get her ass in gear and stop Ryder haha). No, but I did almost tear up when Ryder was about to poison Phinn. I wasn't very happy about that haha. I would cry if Phinn died T_T He's slowly becoming my favorite of the Sons :) I want to kick Anya for being so horrible! Poor Phinn. His psyche must be messed up. I adored the conversation he had with Elena. It was very sweet and sad and human 3 I still want to know why Phinn wants Elena to marry Law... *one track mind* Anyway! Beautiful chapter! Loved it!

Man, you always have to leave Phinn a mystery! I want to know what's going on inside of that head of his! And I hope Quentin comes up with something to help Lawson and Turner soon. I miss them and I'm kind of getting tired of Ryder. Hopefully Sage will make an appearance soon, cuz I really like her to.
