This was an interesting story to read so far. I like the plot and how you keep the readers guessing so everything is a mystery. Should Ember trust Brooke or her "family" and "friend"?
Why did she jump off the Empire State Building and what did Brooke have to do with the accident? Can't waiit to find out in the next chapter!

I loved it! I really do not mind the extra detail, i actually prefer it over very dialogue heavy stories. The character, Ember may have similar characteristics to other characters, but she still has her own special touch so i wouldn't worry much about that. Any who, I think you started off great and would love to read some more soon.
