Maybe it's because I have similar dreams, but I think it's because you use great imagery.

Okay, for Gettysburg...I liked how you were sort of telling a story in away, although sometimes the rhyming is a little awkward. That's okay, I liked it anyways :)
As for Judy, I first thought you were talking about a girl you love then when you told me it was a donkey I was like O_o I like your sense of humor there!

Anyways, I really liked this poem! I like how the 1st line is what guides the flow of it. Another thing - isn't it awkward to stroke your heart? JKJK I know what you really mean
