I know it's a one-shot and you don't want it too long, but t kind of jumps all over the place with some confusing run-ons it seems. However, the details are nice. Please be sure to check your spelling as well because this can also come off as confusing, ex. "It was hot so I took my shirt OFF", instead of 'Of' on accident.
Don't worry though, I do this all the time and the way I talk/type is all the same as it comes through my mind. Most of my stuff doesn't make sense to others as it does more to me. Sometimes I have terrible grammar =)
