Just In
for Fallen From the Heavens

Another great chapter! I just realized something; Ariel is the name of one of Uranus's moons. Not sure if it was intentional, but still, nice! I like how you showed them retaining some of the traits they had as moons (hard surfaces, temperatures, internal substances), though if Europa's anything to judge by things could... heat up, really quickly if Io starts bleeding...so to say ;)

Glad to see the moons are starting to pick up on some basics of humanity, and I liked how you said they all communicate with neutrinos, makes it kind of conceivable that they're conscious without humans knowing until now. Ooh, that mysterious guy again, he's gotta be Dr. Nossa or Dr. Hutch (can't decide how's more likely). And that black hole...that should make things interesting.

Well all in all it's coming along great, and I can't wait for more! =)

So, stuff is starting to happen. You know, I just had a thought. There is absolutely no reason for Cygnus to be evil. In fact, s/he will probably be grateful to still be "alive". Due to time-dilation effects, time would freeze when his/her mass met the event horizon. So, although gravitational collapse is probably not a pleasant way to go, from his/her perspective s/he woke up in a human body at the moment of "death". Just something to think about.

How very interesting. I usually find "(insert thing here) transformed into human" stories incredibly annoying, but this has definite potential. I have to ask though, just irregular is your plan for updates? will I be waiting a couple months between chapters?

Wow, this is amazing! You defiantly nailed the human-thru-alien-eyes thing, and you gave real life and personality to inanimate (or judging by the story, not so inanimate) objects. I always liked Io and Europa the best out of all the moons in the solar system (though Titan, Triton, and our own moon are tied for second place). Like I said before you did awesome job portraying things from the moons' perspective, though I would suggest that when you switch perspectives that you mention who's perspective it's in at the beginning of each section. I loved how they moons can all communicate telepathically even in their natural forms and how they have to learn even basic things about being human rather than instinctually knowing, and that bit at the end, dying to know more about that. Well all in all it's off to a great start, and even though you might not be updateing regularly I still can wait form more! =)

Uhm, wow. This is awesome, I love the idea going on here. The usage of mythology and real things come together very well. It got slightly confusing with the introduction of Earth through the eyes of the moons but not to the point where I had no idea what was going on. I want to know what happens next. Who is the end character? What sort of technology did he use? Is Jupiter going to kick some celestial butt? This was awesome, keep going please.
