"Helen Thinks: I believe that one of the key aspects that creates an amazing poetry is through the writer being able to spin an image or idea through their words and this is most definitely achieved in ‘The Heart’ by e. . This poem beautifully details the wears and tears the heart goes through while the narrator is ‘in the market’ for a new one as theirs has been taken. With flawless rhymes, a spotless pace and a highly unique outlook at the idea of lost love – well, this is the reason I believe the narrator is looking for a new heart – makes this a fresh and one of a kind poem that is an addictive read."

Very nice. You've certainly got me appreciating what my heart can withstand. I particularly like the following lines:

'Though easy it is for it to tear and scar,

It mends, not destroyed as is the glass,'
