Very interesting premise. You've already got us wondering whether or not Adrian is real or not.
- "Maybe he's just a figure of your imagination?"
The saying usually goes "figment of your imagination". I'm not sure if that's what you were going for, or if you used the word "figure" intentionally, but I thought I'd just point that out.
Anyway, like I said, very interesting so far. I'm eager to read more. Keep up the good work!
