Seems like a very interesting story, and I like your tone (although the pace seems a touch fast).
(I think double spacing between paragraphs would make it easier to read. -.-)
Her earrings must be *really* expensive.
And um. I'm not very sure exactly how ironic it is that she stepped into the class with the new boy.
Is "Jabberwocky" really about a dragon? I always thought it was just about some random beast.
...I'm not very sure why Gabriella cried, and why Randy said, "Happiness" either. .
I still think the plot's pretty cool though. Incidentally, was the dragon that she killed/injured Randy? (And fireballs reflect off shields? I'd actually expect most of the energy to end up being used to melt the shield rather than just reflecting, but I'm not very sure.)

Ah, I like this one! It has a few confuzzling moments, but that may be because I'm half-asleep right now. Anyways, the concept was kewl, and I think if you wanted you could make more out of it. I mean... like giving it a more solid-type setting? Ah, don't mine me, my writing wheels are in motion and You know how annoying I am when i get into something. See ya in school when I get over this blasted virus.
