Aww this chapter was sweet. I'm reminded of how much I love Turner. He hasn't been around too much this book if you think about it. And I don't think Elena has to worry about him wooing anyone-especially Emma. Her and Hayden are so adorable. It's understandable why he felt weird about marrying her. His advice to Elena also makes sense to me now. All that stuff he said about convienience can be applied to his situation. He didn't want to be married to someone he barely knew. It makes me happy to see that Hayden and Elena are similar in that respect. What happened to Cole? The best case scenario is that he was just poisoned, I guess. Only three more chapters left! I don't think there are any loose ends to tie up (excluding the whole JH thing). But will Elena go through with her Awakening? I'm eager to find out.

Poor Elena :( I feel terrible that she had to go through that. She's so strong. I love how she immediately went to free Phinn and Turner even though she had just waken up. And I love her and Turner hugging at the end of the chapter. My babies ;_; And poor Cole! I'm so worried :( I just want things to be okay, but I know bad things have to happen before they get good again. I just want everyone to have a big hug fest!

NOOOOOO! MASSIVE CLIFFHANGER! Why did it stop there? I'm freaking out (as you can tell by all the capslock and exclamation points)! Elena better get herself out of this mess. And what a big mess it is. I knew something big was going down. This sucks too. Phinn and Turner are both useless, Cole is wherever, Lawson and Hayden are MIA. And I'm so worried about Emma _ Ughhh now I have to wait to see what happens. I don't think it's possible haha. Stay alive Elena!

Aww it's okay Elena. I wouldn't have thought to say his name either. I mean, JH would have to be stupid to make Luna's weakness that. Elena was being logical, and SOME PEOPLE couldn't see that. At least Cole's okay. Being strangled by your dead mom probably sucks. I wonder what the gang's Plan B is. Is the Thunder off-limits now? It was risky to begin with, but now it's probably super dangerous what with the Luna thing. Only six more chapters left! I feel like something big is going to happen (an appearance from JH? Sage? Elena's Awakening?) At this point I think a CB is needed badly. Anyway, can't wait for the next chapter. I hope Phinn isn't too mad at Elena. She didn't mean to do that. Maybe he's still pissed about being rejected haha.

But poor Cole :( It was probably hard growing up without a family. He tries to act indifferent about it, but he must be feeling some sadness about it. Or maybe I'm like Elena, and he doesn't. When I saw that there was an update I started yelling and running around my house. xD I don't think my sisters liked that. Anyway, this chapter highlited one of my favorite Elena friendships! Go Hayden and Elena! It's kind of weird for me to think of them doing that since I'm so used to their friendship (but will they do it? Is this what Hayden was talking about when he cautioned Elena not to do things for convience' sake?). And now the book is missing? That sucks. I'm also curious about how the Others/Hunt found them. Hi! This is your loyal number one fangirl iamnotarobot! I changed my name due to boredom haha. Anyway very interesting chapter. I love when all the Sons are in the same room. Cuteness and bickering ensues! My favorite relationship between the Sons would have to be Phinn and Cole haha. To me they have the most brotherly relationship (the brain damage thing was cracking me up). Speaking of Cole, my love for him grows! He's putting himself at risk which is so unlike him. So proud *wipes away a tear* I'll miss Lawson's family ;_; They were awesome in the short time was saw them. And now on to a more important matter: Elena's impending retirement. I totally agree with her thoughts on her options (poor Turner though haha). Will she ask Hayden to do it? I'm eager to hear what he has to say. I have the feeling that there will be some surprises in store for my girl Elena. I'm excited at the prospect of acquiring a new CB. It would be fun to see an outside view on one. So much giggling occurred during this chapter. So much giggling. These two are surely going to be the death of me. First there's Elena, and her hilariously neurotic inner monologues. Poor dear. Then Phinn just destroys me with his adorableness. His gentle side always gets me. I love the little details about him. Like how his shirt was buttoned incorrectly. It's funny and a bit sad at the same time. Same thing with his reasoning of why Lawson and Elena should get married (we finally find out woo!). It makes me wonder if he saw his own mother being treated like that... And of course the icing on this delicious chapter 40 cake was all the Phinn/Elena shippiness. When he hugged her I about lost it. And that was just one-armed? Woah. Phinn has powerful hugs (he must use them for good and not evil!). And how at the end turned Elena's words back on her *flails* Love is just your brain telling you to go go go *sigh* Awesome. Maybe Phinn understands more about the subject then Anya assumes? Ugh this chapter was so freaking awesome. Can't contain my joy! Happy new year!

I had written a super long review of this chapter, but then my computer destroyed it D: Oh well. It was really rambly. Anyway! Have I mentioned that I adore Cole? Because I do. So much. When I read I tend to... "talk" to the characters (so weird, I know). So I'm reading this chapter and Cole starts crying and I start going, "Poor baby! You poor thing! Oh Cole!" like really loudly. I'm nuts. I like seeing him so vulnerable though. It makes me love him even more. Also I like the theme of "dumb heroes" in his arc or whatever. I recall him talking to Elena about dumb heroes and smart cowards in an earlier chapter too. I think this incident will have a poignant effect on Cole (I'm not sure if it's for better or worse though). And like Elena (and fanx2) I had assumed that Phinn was turned on by her sudden aggressiveness toward him. It seems like a Phinn-thing haha. Hopefully things won't be TOO awkward between them (yeah right...). UGHHH! I wish I had someone to have discuss this story with. I have so many theories, etc. I swear, if this series was in book-form I would shoving it on all my friends/family/strangers. I am that crazy over it haha. Until next time!
