Lawson might make a good husband but I'm not convinced. Phinn never said what his reasoning was. i wish those paintings were real so i could see them too.

lawson was so funny lol. When Elena said "emma looks like you" and his first response, "yes, she's so beautiful" is definitely a great line. he doesn't even realize how concieted he is and its great.

OH MY GOD. Pardon the caps lock but OH MY GOD. That chapter was wicked intense. I was still throughout that entire arguement (go Elena by the way! I love when she stands up for herself!). But then that kiss happened, and I was out of there. Holy cow. I was not expecting that. I just thought Phinn would finish being an ass and leave, but then he did that sjabdksvsk! I don't know whose side I'm on for this one. On one hand I'm like: good for Elena for standing her ground and not taking it, but then on the other hand I feel terrible for Phinn because he seemed sad about being rejected like that. Someone needs to tell him that being an ass to a girl you might like then kissing her randomly isn't the smartest idea. But I guess that's the problem: no one IS there to tell him that. Anyway, GREAT chapter! I'll be eagerly awaiting more :)

Okay. Now things are getting bad (which also means they're getting good haha). Poor Jackson! I knew something like this was bound to happen though. He seemed so ready to prove that he wasn't a little kid :( I also worry for the rest of Lawson's family. Especially since they had to experience Phinn's "heroism". That wasn't too classy of him haha. I'm excited to see what happens next seeing as how we're nearing the climax of the story. Love it! :)

Well things weren't going to stay nice and peaceful for long :( I'm really worried about what's going to happen to everyone. Hopefully the boys are alright. It makes sense that Jackson would run off like that. Don't you know that the Others are super dangerous, Jackson? And I'm also nervous about Cole and Phinn. BE SAFE. Also, Emma is almost as stupid (or stupider) than Elena haha. Maybe Book One Elena would have opened the door too :) Happy holidays!

Urghghg I love Phinn so much even though sometimes I feel like I shouldn't haha. I mean, when he punches Hayden I laugh a little, but I feel bad about it. It's the same thing with Cole. I love the little bugger even when he's acting like a complete tool (like at the end of this chapter for instance haha). I like how Anya and Phinn have this weird superpower where they can notice things other people can't. Just another strange theory, but I think MAYBE Phinn has this power of observation because he's the child of a Chaste Beauty. It makes me wonder if the kids of a CB have remnants of their power. It also makes me think that if Elena were ever to be retired that she would have that power too. Reading the Harry Potter series has turned me into someone who likes making rampant plot speculation. Great chapter! I loved it!

I love Phinn's character. You think you have him all figured out and then he just confuses you. He's also really pitiful which makes him cute, so I kind of want to give him a hug. Although he'd probably punch me in the face if I tried;) I love this story!

Cole not understanding hugs is funny and depressing at the same time. Also: Turner's feeling better! This is great news. I feel like things are looking up, but then there's always the chance that Hayden didn't find the charm, or Emma slipped on a pebbled and went into coma or something. We'll find out next chapter :)!
