Jake and Bevin seem right together... which means that something terrible and dramatic is about to happen, right? Mindy truly seems oblivious to her own actions while condemning those of other, especially if they get in her way. Perhaps Bevin is better off without her as a friend.

Hi! It's been a long long long time since my last review but as you can see I'm too lazy to even sign in or anything these days.
Anyway I loved how in this chapter Bevin finally realises what a butt Mindy is. I feel that her and Jake's relationship was like a secondary aspect to the more important development of Bevin and Mindy's characters. I don't know if you intended it that way but thats how I read it and I really liked it. Update soon!

I'm loving this story. I knew all of these people in high school and it's interesting to re-meet them ten years later.
Fitzgerald is great, but it's funny for him to accuse Mindy of being dishonest, himself quite adept at the art of deception. Though we the reader think we know him, s seen through the eyes of Bevin, I can imagine that realistically his character and life story are more complicated than they appear.
Looking forward to the next chapter. Mindy at her worst is something to anticipate, particularly if she gets her own (in the form of a new bad boyfriend OR redemption) in the end.

Noah's realization was inevitable, though I do feel bad for him. He was truly a good guy... just not the right guy.

Her reaction to Jake's arrival was very telling. I'm surprised that she didn't feel a little let down when Mindy started with all of the "he's the one" song-and-dance. I wonder, is Bevin aware of her true feelings? And where does that leave poor Noah? He is going to feel pretty used when it all falls apart.

Mindy does not seem like the type of person who can remain faithful to one man... especially if he treats her well. But she is the type of person who can be dangerous if she feels that her boyfriend, or her best friend, has scorned her or cheated. This could get ugly.

I don't think that Jake even understands why he did what he did. Anyway, it seems that things are beginning to get more complicated.
I must be very conservative. I would never go into that sort of detail about what a lover did or did not do. To me that would seem incredibly disrespectful. I must come from a different world or era.

It seems that Bevin is becoming aware of something else as well. It should be interesting to see what happens from here. Will she lose Mindy as a friend or will it all work out in the end? I suspect that this is all going to get messy.

It is obvious that there is a reason behind Madison's dislike of Mindy and that whatever it is directly involves Bevin... something that she "got over."
Honestly, I can't see why Bevin likes Mindy either (one of the unfortunate problems of reading ahead before reviewing is that I already know more than I should)

I like Bevin's outspoken approach to life. Especially her unwillingness to suborn her own likes/dislikes to anyone else.

Woaaahh double update! :D I liked how Bev and Jake knew each other as kids. Also liked her conversations with her father, they have an interesting relationship. Hate the name Fitzgerald, so I get why Jake would want to change it.

Wow. Well. Looking at the reviews and the uodate date, I can see that you're not a quick updater... Oh and speking of reviews, you totally deserve more than this. I really like this story! It seems extremely slow-paced if you're going for a Jake-Bevin thing in the future but I honestly don't mind because it's too interesting! I commend you for continuing to post despite your lack of reviews though, I probably wouldn't.
