So glad that they are safe! For now. Really glad to learn more about perpetuals. That clearly hit Terry hard. But I'm sure Kieron can love him. I liked how Kieron took charge and kissed Terry. I wonder how Kieron knew about that house. Was it just luck, and it was a coincidence that they had those books, or did he know the owners somehow? Good idea to teach Terry how to use knives (for self-defense). Looking forward to reading more.

Wow! Great continuation to the previous chapter. That fight was intense. Kieron is a badass! I like how he was willing to sacrifice himself for Terry. They've developed quite a bond. I liked Terry's inner monologues. That was a surprising twist. So surprising that it even surprised you LOL. You described Kieron's transformation really well. I wonder what that means. Terry sure seemed shocked. Looking forward to reading more.

Very intense and exciting chapter. That was an interesting twist. I didn't expect that the Screamers were only supposed to abduct Terry. Assuming that what the Master said is the truth, of course. Pretty smart of Terry to take that fork. He is slowly developing survival skills. I was actually worried that Kieron wouldn't make it for a moment. Good job with the action scene. That was quite a cliffhanger to end the chapter on. Looking forward to reading more. I wonder how will they get out of this. I hope Kieron kicks the Screamer's ass!

Very intense chapter. You described Kieron's pain and Terry's worry and sadness so well. I really feel sorry for both of them. That nightmare was especially creepy, it must have been terrifying for Terry. I liked Terry's character development throughout the story, especially now, feeling an obligation to save Kieron and putting in his best efforts to do it. I wonder does the bond mean that, if Kieron dies, Terry dies too? I didn't expect that ending. I wonder what the Master wants. And good to know you had your technical problems resolved. Looking forward to reading more.

Very exciting chapter. I liked that Terry stood up for himself and managed to leave. But those Screamers just can't leave him and Kieron alone. The torture with the knife was especially cruel. I wonder what is it made off, why does Kieron react to it that way? I also wonder how did the Screamers find them, and where are Ashere and Blaine. Looking forward to reading how are they going to get free.

Terry's jealousy over Ashere's and Kieron's... history is sweet and awkward. I wonder is there something more to "the bond", and I hope the Screamers won't get to them. Really cute and interesting chapter. I wonder: is the bond somehow connected to them having sex? My favorite part was: ""Just…tell me it meant something," I whispered, averting my gaze toward the flames instead of Kieron's face. A moment later I felt the heat of his gaze on me. "Just tell me it wasn't just…a spur of the moment thing. Tell me you're not like the others."
"I don't even know what that means," he said, shifting next to me.
"There's been a lot of guys in my life," I murmured. "I admit I liked most of it, but…they all just…wanted to fuck and as soon as…we did…they took off like I was nothing. I just…" I swallowed thickly and closed my eyes, heart clogging my throat as I thought about it. "I just don't want to be nothing to…to you."
There was a long, drawn out pause which surrounded us. The silence was tense yet comfortable at the same time, if that made any sense. I kept my eyes closed but felt his gaze on me just the same, knew he was watching me, waiting, but I would not give him the satisfaction of seeing my expression when he answered that I was nothing to him, just like the others, just like-
"If you were nothing to me," he said slowly, quietly, cutting into my thoughts, "I would have left you with the screamers.""
The ending really took me by surprise! Poor Terry. Looking forward to reading more.
