It was lovely! You actually made my heart hurt. The cussing seemed very fitting and gave the characters more umf. I will say that her reason for slapping the chick made sense but I don't think you took it far enough, you had the chance to have his ex say something shockingly insulting enough for a solid slap. Wonderful story, don't stop writing.
