This was actually really true for me,and probably for a lot of others too. I think girls and women all have this jealousy chip implanted in us that forces us to compare ourselves and read into those around us, and this illustrates it fearlessly.

This is a very strong piece. Your narrator is has a very powerful presence, which I like because it seemed to back up the honesty and emotion of the piece. At the same time, I did think she was a bit angsty and melodramatic, which I didn't like as much because it made her seem like she was whining (almost), but I guess that's sort of the point of this. Either way, it's a heartfelt and well-written piece.
