for ribbon 'round calloused hands

This poem makes me think about the context. The essence is the image of the silver ribbon across the calloused hands associated with the painting over of cracks in wood; but there is pain in the fracture and in the history of the callouses. Interesting implicit writing, as in a number of Angelissimo's poems.

I liked how there was a seeming disagreement between the two stanzas because it made me pause and think about the message. I also liked your word choice because it was excellent in describing who this girl was and how she appears on the outside.
