I love this chapter! I love sad Ivan! Even more than ashamed Ivan!
I guess it's because he begins the story as such a narcissist. In the sense not so much that he was vain, but that his world was just an extension of himself... there was no 'other' to worry about.
Now, Emerson is his 'other', and maybe soon his significant other! Which makes me happy. I like seeing Ivan's narcissism break down in order for it to happen too. It's so gratifying on every level.
So I'm happy and I look forward to the next installment.

It sucked that things were a bit awkward between them, but I figured they might be after last chapter! Nico was funny as usual xD At least they have him to sort of break the tension!

Wow, you're updating really fast right now.
I wish Emerson and Ivan could just work it out, because, they talked, but it didn't really help, so, I'm curious where all this tension will lead.

I love how you add these little things Ivan notices and mentions about Emerson, Jesus, that is so hot. Like he notices so much and knows so much about Emerson. You'd think he'd realize by now. Poor Emerson though, I wonder how long he's liked Ivan. Cause dang Ivan you kinda suck for putting him through this shit.

I always do a double take when I see you have updated so fast. I'm starting to like Nico a lot more now that I know he won't be stealing Ivan away. I love Ivan and Emerson and hope they stop being stupid with the whole avoiding each other and being awkward thing but I guess it's part of their charm :)

Yay, fast update! Loved the entire chapter! You are so funny, I laugh so much when I read this story!
Okay, reviewing from the top because this chapter deserves a long one (I think this is my favorite, but it's hard to tell because everyone feels like my favrotie chapter when I read them).
First of all, I SO want to hear the rest of Nico's story, so I'm a bit annoyed at Ivan for not listening. I love how you used " around "kill them" haha.
"He takes mine and I pull him up and he's actually not as light as I would have expected, so I guess he must have some muscle hidden somewhere in there." Nico has muscles! :)
And then, they became like brothers! It was so sweet when he said Ivan is like his older brother, and it was even greater when he said he kissed Ivan to see how jealous Emerson would get!
And then... Ivan and Emerson in the kitchen! It's so obvious for us that they both want each other, but why don't THEY realize that, and now they're gonna pretend that it never happened? Yeah, good luck, guys. I just sat here and wished that Ivan should just step up and kiss Emerson like he wanted to. But he didn't :(
And he nearly cried! Ivan! Poor guy.
I hope he will listen to his fortune cookie! Update soon!

And yes, despite being rather...uh, clueless-but-cute-and-sarcastic, Ivan does have feelings and inner conflicts. I love his character! Good job.

Alright, like, I read this earlier, and now I can sit down and review after everything. Whew.
Okay, so, I don't really know how I feel on things. Like, I think I'm happy, mainly because they've FINALLY hooked up after eleven chapters, so yeah. That's nice.
I think I've been reading quite a few "first ever" sex scenes in the past few days. For a first ever, it's not all that bad, and I don't think it's terribly explicit. I mean, I've read the Fifty Shades trilogy, so this is pretty tame compared to that as well as someone else's first-ever that I've recently read. You did a good job with not overdoing it—what I've noticed with some rookie scenes is that people overdo it. You didn't do that here, yayyy! :) You've done a good job with not scaring off certain readers by giving really intense, explicit details.
That's all I really have to say for this chapter. Ta.
