A lot of internalized racism in this... good looking “for an Indian”? Plus a bunch of other facetious jokes about Indian food, people, etc. I’m not Indian but these stereotypes are unacceptable even if you’re Indian yourself - especially when they’re repeatedly juxtaposed with Nadine’s whiteness (eg kinda obsessive Indian mom vs Uber chill British aka white dad). Off with the colonial filters, please.

So I made the mistake of reading this all over again. Now I can't wait for the next chapter, but I know that's going to take a loooong time.
