I love it. I love it so much.
Sexual assault is something that many people suffer, and I feel for them all.
But children are beautiful, and I'm glad she didn't abort the child. What you described is accurate for the aftermath of that; with the being on autopilot. However, if I were a woman who had this happen to her; 1: I wouldn't take any shit for being called a 'Slut', and
2: I would raise the kid under any circumstances, because I love kids, and no matter his/her creation, I would be a mom and the child is my own.
The gay men in this story are FABULOUS. Just how god intended.

Hi I just wanted to say your writing realy inspires me. The words and emotions are so realisitic. Once I start reading this story I cant stop, I just have to know what happens next, which is something I have to have in what I read. Keep up the fantastic work. I'm not going to give any corrections on that piece as I feel there is none. It was perfect. I particularly loved the way you implemented into the story that Bridgett did hold Ava and was tempted to keep her, my eyes filed with tears at that part. It is completely understandable why she gave Ava up and keeping her would have have been a form of torture by reminding her evryday what had happend to her. Seriously your very talented and creative. Dont give up, cant wait to read more of this incredible story. :)

Oh my gosh! So many feels! I loved this so much and it was- wow. I kind of guessed that Bridgett had been assaulted from the get-go but the way you wrote it, the way you showed us the emotions and the decisions and Bridgett's thoughts throughout the pregnancy... it was perfect, in a heartbreaking, make-me-cry-why-don't-you kind of way. And oh my god, Danny and Mason! They're definitely my favorite gay couple to read about on Fictionpress so far. I loved it, it was a perfect one-shot and now I can't wait to see how this will affect Ava in the future chapters of Ascension. This was really great! I could never write everything I want to write about in a one shot. LOL 3333

Wow. Just, wow. You always blow my expectations away. You seem to have an endless storage of multi-dimensional characters in your head, because each one of them feels like a real person. I love the angst and drama all the characters go through in these stories, and how the comedic dialogue helps it stay grounded, and not take itself too seriously. It's not like one of those fantasy worlds where only the main characters have real problems.
Your writing style is, as always, top notch, and I'm still baffled at the fact that you are still not a professional novelist. You've really got what it takes. I may be sounding overgenerous to you, but that's not the case at all. Writing really seems to be your forte. But, I don't know. I don't assume to know anything about you personally, so maybe writing is just one among your many talents. Whatever the case, I can definitely foresee a career in this for you.

Aww I really liked this one shot. It was really interesting and filled in the gaps about Ava's mother and Ava but I'd love to hear more on whether or not she ever sees her mother again.
