Great poem. I really like transition from the first few lines with imagery of dancing and 'puffy dreams' and that fairy tale imagery to the second half where it becomes more real...talk of braces, jeans, glassses, and then the final line is just great. I haven't read Where I'm From so maybe it's not in the right context but I really enjoyed the poem :)

This was great! I loved the progression from starting at a fairy tale and ending with the warrior and everything that got the character to that point! Great job :)
