Oh ma days, loved this chapter. The emotional moment between Lara and her mother was great, very well written. And I'm glad to see Lara progressing out her phase of needing to help everybody!
As always, loved it, still interested and waiting impatiently for the next update:D

Holy Jesus. That was an emotional roller coaster, actually, this whole story is.
I actually felt helpless for the two of them and got so drawn into their emotions that I cried a few times.
You write the aftermath of having a family member die of cancer brilliantly: The guilt, the blame and the baggage that everyone carries.
All throughout your story there have been some startlingly poignant moments that have amazed me with with their original thoughts and piercing clarity. Particularly the traffic-lights scene, that really stood out to me as it both made perfect sense but also seemed so sad that she placed her worth in a pair of traffic lights.
Fletcher and Lara are so dramatic and messed up and it just makes them so human. I thought this chapter was amazing because Lara's been having small breakthroughs for ages, and she progressed even more this chapter but Fletch hasn't really ever got closer to understanding her and really knowing her, like he did in this chapter. Him reading big blue in his car felt like a very important moment because he had his own moment of revelation which is important to the both of them moving forward. He was finally able to better understand her good deeds and also see that Saskia needed help. And Lara is so so close to working everything out in her head.
I'm actually really looking forward to her dad coming, I want to see what happens between them and I can't wait for her and Fletcher to talk again.
Also, as I was reading this chapter it occurred to me more than it ever has before, what an original storyline this seems to be, and what an amazing writer you are to make your characters so much more than two-dimensional that we actually take them away with us once we've finished reading. You should try to get this published! I reckon you'd have a real good shot.

oooh, its out! good that fletcher finally read it, i was afraid it would blow up in lauras face even more. bur im guessing its only the beginning. on the good side, its finally lauras turn to be there for fletcher. to be the one to expalin. to be honest. and to say what she actually mean, atleast i hope so ) she needs to tell fletcher the truth now that her gard is down )

WOW to Fletch reading Big Blue... that is going to be a bit tricky for Lara to explain! (although she could just admit she was in denial about loving him).

My reaction at the end of this chapter was "Holy crap!"
I'm really anxious and excited for how you will wrap this story up and resolve the issues between Lara and Fletch. I thought the blow up last chapter was the middle of their relationship/lack of relationship/relationship problem arc but now that Fletch has read Lara's hate rant-Whoa, definitely not any where near finished.
I think the title of this chapter is perfect because we get to see both Lara's and Fletch's "eye-opening" moments. In regards to Lara, I was relieved because the other characters were finally giving her the shake down that I've been desperately hoping I could have done myself. I hope I'm not the only one that Lara frustrates sometimes. haha

I'm in the same boat as Merry , Fletch , and mommy dearest: I wish she'd stop punishing herself . Of course that's not going to be easy at all , but ... I mean ... Maybe isolation ? Should searching ? Away from her family and friends ? I don't know . I got so mad that after all the lectures and heart to hearts , she freaking asked for Big Blue ! WTFFFFFFFFFFFFF ?! Ugh . But to completely honest , I wish Fletch wasn't so hard on her for her deeds . Even before she confessed it was the only thing that made her feel good . And because of that , I'm sort of glad he read her hate note ... But I wish it wasn't RIGHT after he saved her life ... Blah , junk . And if his sister is the only one at the station because she covered for her fuckass boyfriend ... I don't even know _

Thank the lord that Lara's starting to listen to everyone. She's got a lot of work to do with Fletch though. Although, it could be somewhat Bridget Jones esq (movie) and Fletch could just be like, it's cool: it's who you were. Because if I can see she obviously doesn't feel that way about him, then Fletch should (I DON'T EVEN LIKE LARA!)
I'm liking where this is at. I cannot wait to find out what Saskia has done, and what Fletch is going to do to that douche that is her boyfriend. And I really want Daz and Lara to have a screaming match. Don't know why. Just do. I mean, Daz is going to have some pretty big shit to get over, if Lara and Fletch are ever happy.

I loved it! I was really hopijg for some Lara and Fletch stuff, but they did need a moment alone to think things through. Finally! LARA GOT IT ALL OUT. And i hope Sakisha didn't do something real stupid that Fletch would get made at Lara for. They've been through too much. Loved it and update soon.
