And yay! Merry asked my question! I'm still unsure about my reaction to Fletch's answer, but it did help a little. I still think it's a bit self-absorbed of him, to completely ignore that it does so much good for other people, but I can understand the idea that it reminds him too much of the reason she started doing it.
On to the next chapter. :)

I truly think this is one of the best chapters you've ever written. The emotions were so raw and so real, and we got to see a side of Lara she'd never shown before. The events also touched me on a very deep level - one of my best friends passed away from leukemia last year, so the mourning and sorrow were very real for me. You portrayed them flawlessly. Bravo.

Woohoooooo! They finally are seeing each other, for real! Or Lara is finally showing her vulnerable side to Fletch. I'm so happy! I wonder if Lara will go back to her biotchy queen bee act, or will it be softened by releasing some of the grief she has been holding inside herself. Mmmm changes between her attitude towards Fletch or the interactions between the two of them...? I'm really excited to see what happens next!

I've read this chapter twice now and I've been crying both time. This is written so perfect, I feel Laras pain and I can't stop thinking about this poor teenager who pressed the button just to be seen. Even if it's a sad chapter, I guess this is my favorite so far.

My heart broke, as in actually broke. I have never read a more emotional and thoughtful chapter. When you first read about the pedestrian crossing it seems absurd but then you read further and god it just hurts. A very powerful scene and beautiful chapter. Its nice to know Lara isn't as untouchable as she looks, it allows the readers to further connect with her. Lovely chapter update soon! xxxxxxxxxx

I loved it! I was so busy that I read just bits but I finally got to sit and read it! I love seeing Lara like this and that sounds horrible,but her vulnerable and not having her yell at Fletch, but to want him with her is adorable! I think this is one of my favorite chapters! Loved it and update soon!

What a fantastic chapter! It was really amazing. I hope we get to see the real Lara around Fletch more, it just makes everything so meaningful and just plain great. I do hope this brings them more closer and makes the more affectionate towards one another. I LOVE ALL OF YOUR STORIES. You are honestly one the best authors on this site. Stay amazing xx

But in all seriousity, I'm glad we finally got to see Lara break down. Well, not glad for her as a person, but glad for the sake of the story. She's got to be snarky and bitchy for a reason, and yes, the background galore is so satisfying to read. Snarky, bitchy Lara is awesome and all, but she can't be like that ALL the time, right? Haha. And Fletch! I love the strong, silent supporter type. I need this man in my life, pronto.
I'm also glad that their relationship has passed another milestone, and that it doesn't seem as shallow or simple as before. YES! Keep it comin' :)
And I'm glad I noticed your trend of updating almost immediately after replying to reviews, so... yeah, I'm reviewing now and forever for an extra dose of your writing.
