I've been wondering when you would post another story (or, had been, until you posted your most recent one-shot)! This prologue reminds me of Saving From Monkeys in that it leaves so much to be explained - I'm excited to see where it goes! I, for one am always up for your randomness; it's one of my favorite bits of your stories! I was just trying to explain that the other day to someone and ended up rambling about funeral attire and not doing it justice (and then randomly stumbled upon a hat like Elliot's today, oddly enough!)
I will have to make a note to check out those songs in the near future and will be happily watching for another chapter, whenever that may be! Happy writing, I'm excited to be able to follow another story of yours chapter by chapter!

Well... wow. A raunchy beginning, certainly, but well-written (of course). :)
Anyway, I'm glad to hear we'll still be getting plenty of your usual randomness; I've gotten caught procrastinating so many times because of my muffled spasms of laughter (which are obviously not study-induced), and it's so worth it. It's nice to be reassured that you haven't gone TOO angsty on us with this one. :)
I do have one question- is Lara Montgomery a high school student or a college student? I know you're probably going to make it clear in the next update or two, but I went into this thinking "high school" (not sure why) and came out thinking "better be college..." (because otherwise that is THE sketchiest high school party I've ever heard of in my life).
Anyway, I can't wait for the next update! Please don't keep us poor readers in suspense TOO long.

I'm so excited that you have a new story! I always love your stories and this is no different. I'm pretty stoked to see where you will take this story. It's nice to see a story about someone who has made many mistakes before and is trying to find redemption/atonement for what they've done. :)

It's not often I find a story who's protagonist I share a name with, I hope she's a character I will be honoured in doing so ;)
When you say the story wont be to angsty, does that mean it will be lighter than 'Saving from Monkeys'? Beacuse I did find that one quite angsty...
