Oh my gosh seriously you end it there ARHH! Sorry I didn't review the last few chapters, but I've been busy with school and work. But I'm so happy I read them all in one go! Prepare for a long review. Your action sequences are always so wonderfully done, and you also have a good grip on the pacing too! I always love reading them. But that whole thing with Wood is driving me crazy! Olivier is insisting he's innocent, but I have to go with my girl Anya on this. You never know who's got some hidden agenda. But I will say Danver is a huge ass. Jeez! What's wrong with that guy?
I'm glad Cole is okay! He's so adorable, I can't deal with him. Such a cute baby crying when he sees Elena ahhdhfd. And hmm that's so interesting how Hayden appointed Turner as his heir? I'm actually surprised since Turner is the last one I saw ruling the Clouds (besides Phinn anyway). But now that I think about it, he would probably be a good King. The sort of king who wouldn't mind being a figurehead haha.
And last but not least, oh my GOD AHSHDJSH. Not only do we have Elena admitting out loud that she's head over feet for Phinn, but Anya is basically all about them getting married. I am too, but shh. Phinn is absolutely precious asking about weddings and proposals oh my gosh. What a darling. Now I have to go back and read all of those chapters before Hunt's attack to see if Phinn drops any hints. ASHDSH. Then I remember that he is still kidnapped and hurt and ahdhjf no baby. I will definitely be around for book eight! I wonder what the title will be? Voices or Clouds? And oh no you don't want me asking you any questions. I will abuse this power. Thanks for another ADORABLE ACTION PACKED WONDERFUL book. It was a great ride!

Why would Wade work for the man who had his father killed? Maybe he had a hand in killing the king? But that seems like a long shot, not impossible but a long shot, maybe He's the traitor? Man ever since he slapped Elena I've been wanting something bad to happen to him...now hes poisoned, whoops? Elena fighting Others are like some of my favorite scenes lol

Oh yes yes yes. I am in love with this team up. Anya and Elena working together is my new favorite thing. Bless you. I'm excited to see how this turns out. Also HOLY CRAP? What's the deal with this contract thing? I mean, I said I didn't trust Wood like two books ago, but I eventually came to like him a lot :( But there's another example of how the reader gets totally sucked into Elena's narrative. She started out not trusting him, but started to warm to him as well. I really hope she's misunderstanding Hunt and Wood is a good guy. That would break my heart if he was a double agent the whole time. But I'm happy to see Anya okay. For some reason she's one of my favorite characters haha. I do enjoy her brand of crazy. We're getting into the last legs of this book, and I'm excited to see what happens. UM WOW I JUST HAD A THOUGHT. This literally JUST CAME TO ME and it's probably my craziest theory yet. What if the guy with the scar back in the Kingdom of Voices... *drum roll* was Craig? Anya's dead boyfriend? LIKE WHAT IF? Wouldn't that be nuts? Like maybe he never died? Or he died and Hunt brought him back? I don't know, but wouldn't that be crazy? I'm sorry omg this is the longest stretch in the history of stretches. But I'm starting to believe anything can happen in this world.

Man this story is addicting and I'm loving this Elena and Anya combo. Also Wood evil? I just cant see it and if they were working together why would he admit it in front of everyone, maybe he was referring to a contract with his soul as in he's going to soul strip him now that he knows hes a good magic User. Finally Elena seems to be taking some charge! This is getting really exciting!

COOLLE NOO MY PRECIOUS DARLING. I should have expected this to happen what with Nat's vision and all. I would have to rank Cole like number three on the Accident Prone Sons list. Remember that time he almost DIED? Please be okay, Cole, or I will be a hot mess of a person. Also dear lord Phinn stop getting kidnapped you are wearing me out. My emotions are going haywire. Can I also point out that Cole is basically a mini-Phinn. I remember Phinn using the "your face" comeback back in book one against Quentin. Never change, boys. Never change. And I guess Hunt doesn't want Elena kicking around anymore? Or at least the Red Lady. Since she knows all about Hunt's secrets and how to destroy him? Am I remembering the prophecies right? Oh well. UghHHHH COLE.

It was so nice to see Irving again. I do like him a lot. Poor guy. And the brotherly relationship he has with Clinton is too sweet. I wonder why Clinton wants to try out his method on Smith? I mean, the method they have now works pretty okay. And I don't want them to rush anything. Gosh, Quentin! I was kind of surprised that his mother died. And it makes sense that Quentin would be glad. Being a victim of abuse affected him so much, and to have the person who caused him so much pain die? He must feel relieved that his child is going to be okay? I know Cecilia knew about the pregnancy, though I don't know what she would have done about it. But I'm glad to know Jenny and the baby will be safe (for the time being, I guess, since Sage basically said she would kill them for the Clouds). I'm interested in the prophecy junk still! And Jasper's back story. Maybe we'll get a taste next chapter if Phinn is willing to share.
I have a question for you! How do you go about outlining your writing if you outline at all. I have a feeling you might since a lot of story components seem previously planned? I'm always interested to see how other writers plan out their work, or how they outline. And I'm even more interested since I'm studying different outlining techniques right now. Thank you :)

First of all, oh my god thank you Guest for saying I crack you up. For some reason I can't write a review for this series without collapsing in on myself. Anyway, I can't bring myself to like Jasper, I'm sorry oh wow. I really didn't like how he slapped Elena. I didn't like how Elena justified getting slapped? Come on girl, I know you said something rude, but I don't think getting hit was punishment for it. SIGH. I'm sort of sticking to my theory that Jasper is that one guy's kid, so maybe he's so cold and rude and robotic because his poor dad was killed and the King was sort of behind it all? I wonder if he knew (like Phinn sort of had an idea of what happened, but he has magic perception powers). I don't know. It was just heartbreaking to see Elena concede to Jasper like that. And yeah, she was being presumptuous, but Jasper could have told her to shut up or to stop, I guess. I think it wasn't the act of slapping her that upset me. It was how Elena didn't call him out on it? I thought it was really primitive of him, I don't know. Maybe it's my personal feelings getting in the way? She just went all submissive, and it made me sad because last chapter Phinn was saying how he liked when she stood up to people, and I felt the same way about that too. Was Jasper justified is the question. I don't think he was, but then again I only have a flimsy idea of his true relationship with Anya (I'm assuming she was like a mother for him too?). I don't like JASPER THERE IS SAID IT. But I like all the other characters. I like Smith more than Jasper at this point oh man. OH MAN. But I still hate Hunt the most. SO yeah.
(Also I was in the shower yesterday, and I was like "Oh! Hunt is hunting down the Sons!" Yeah I think about this series all the time basically)

Oh wow I was right for once :0 But I'm happy! Because that means Smith might not be entirely a bad guy, and she can hang around and do cool stuff more. That's so awful how Hunt messed with her like that though. I mean, maybe messed with her. But it makes sense. Anyway, aWWWWW PHINN AND ELENA. What dopes. I swear. But I'm so in love with Phinn's perspective of her. Like aHHH. He likes her because she's brave and confident in herself and how she's not afraid to stand up to people like wow. She's not afraid to put him in his place, and he LOVES IT. Just kill me. They're so perfect. They have so much respect for each other, I guess? Like Phinn coming to respect Elena is so awesome and cool. Like he's not just infatuated with her as a woman, he admires her and respects her as a person. Which is so great. Even though he's very immature and childish, I think their relationship is so mature and wonderful. Just i CAN'T WITH THEM. I do sort of hope they get married one day. Because that would make me cry all over my laptop.

Phinn and Elena kill me with their perfection ;A; And Winter is a badass, and Natalie is adorable (i'm still excited over the possibility of her and cole having any interaction shhh i'm matchmaking quietly beyond the fourth wall), and that Quentin/Elena scene broke my heart. Such good relationships in this series. Elena has really distinct relationships with each Son, each character, and they all make me happy! Also new theory time! I think Hunt put Phinn's Thar into Smith? Maybe? I'm wrong like 95% of the time though, but I'm curious to know why Hunt didn't put the Thar into Phinn. Hmmm.
