Well, that wasn't exactly what I was expecting at the mention of Riley's sister but I guess all the elder women in Riley's family cannot be horrid, stuck up wenches. That's nice for her.
This chapter felt rushed, like you wrote it in a hurry - quite possibly out of excitement - and then published it without a second read. It happens, but I just thought I'd let you know that there are several grammatical and spelling errors in this one.
Other than that, I enjoyed the read.

I am pretty sure I missed what was important about this chapter, I am so tired, but here is a guess anyway: the bit about Riley and her combat boots.

How long was this chapter? Because it didn't feel incredibly lengthy to me.
