I can see Atticus slowly becoming used to Calix and that makes me happy! Although this Vance guy seems like a dick - he went against the orders of the high king; that's probably going to lead to some sort of backlash...

hi there, I like the premise of this story and the use of fantasy characters with a bit of a twist. The balance of modernity versus traditional fantasy world seems a little off in places but overall I like it, and am interested to see where you take this.
You write nicely, but try not to get to bogged down in descriptions, I like them but maybe if you spread it out a bit through the scene it will distract less from the flow of the action. :-)

I'm guessing that was one of the night terrors he always has...
I wonder what cause him to have this night terror... the fact that Calix would rather stay with Atticus is great; I think he's my favorite...
