Isn't Michigan a great place? That's where I live! And, yeah, that basically sums up how we are up here, my parents live between a pub and tavern and the fourwheelers/snowmobilers are the worst! But, OMG, Jason's working on Bastien's project? Do I detect some complications? Hm? DO I?

Hmmmm...Drew sounds like he's in a messy relationship...definitely need more on that front. How will it impact his employment? Storm clouds ahead on that front.

This was a heavy chapter with Sebastien finally sharing something of his past. I'm glad that he has, and I now understand why you have decided so far not to write from Sebastien's POV. Like you say, pages and pages of internal angst about how someone feels about someone else is all well and good but sometimes a little cloying and not really good plot movers. I suspect Sebastien's inner thoughts are all full of angst and internal musings that stem from his therapy.
Angst has its place of course and there is a fair amount of angst in this story, but you seem to have found the right balance and that is often hard to do especially when you so obviously have so much invested in these characters. It is very obvious that you have a great deal of stuff written about them to support their story that will never see the light of day but makes them the way they are and influences the way they react in the situations you put them in. When I do this it almost enables me to write the story without any effort at all, as if I've done all the ground work and the story is simply the end product after a shit load of preparation. It really does make a difference when someone has prepared before hand.

Looking forward to the next chapter, and I'm so glad you didn't make us wait too long for them to talk it out. That would have been too much angst,

OMFG, yeeeeeeees! Angst is good! Cuz, hey, there isn't a single perfect relationship on this planet, so it wouldn't be believable if it was all sex and roses, yanno? Superb, I love Jason's outburst, found myself standing in the room with them and yelling at Sebastian (although, I followed Sebastian into his car . . . ).
