I don't know what it is about this version that "just fits" but it does. The prevoius Corsairs Crown did not smoothly flow with the Sailors General story in my humble opinion. This version the relationship between the general and Cale rings true and consistent, the pirates simply believing that Ja Alim is a girl is more believable, and the introduction of Kore and her role in the story is brilliant. She is just the kind of buffer Cale needs. (Cales cousins showing up often in the previous S. G. was a bit much for me). It was also difficult for me to believe that the general would doubt Cales loyalty. Having the general sending Cale to Rzalez city makes much more sense. To sum it this version is a thumbs up. Even if I enjoyed this version better your writing, characters and world building is Phenomenal. Its like watching a movie in my head, also Alims sarcastic wit cracks me up everytime. The generals soft side he shows to Cale is heart touching. I love how the general is faithful to Cale, just reading how he resist, and fights off Alim s advances is so entertaining. And the fact that Alim is not as sore about loosing the general or pursuing him as he pretends to be in front of Cale and the fact that Alim is deeper and more complex than he pretends to be is wonderful to read_ can't wait for more

I love this story! I love your charachters, they are amazing. My favorite is calentine, he is an optimist and though not naive just less informed. For once i see a relationship that does not go too fast! Though i must admit calentine is dragging it too much since he hasnt answered not ONE of his own questions about their relationship grrrr. I love ja alim and calentines "friendship" and that they are starting to build a bridge between them slowly. You have to update soon! Im really captivated by this story :-D

I love this story. Just came back here after a really long time and remembered how much I enjoyed this story, and that it was unfinished, and that I should check if you've written more from when I left off and you did. Aaaaand now I'm going to be waiting again and as long as its unfinished I think some part of me is always going to be waiting. So just so you know, some of us are still out there who are still interested in the story. I'm so invested in this series it kinda hurts, but in a good way! Although I'd be torn if it never came to a conclusion. I really hope the two stay together. Oh alim, I hope he gets a chance to be happy too. Thanks for writing this.

Absolutely addicted to this series. I read the first story a while ago, and came back to re-read it yesterday. Moved onto the sequel, and was surprised that I hadn't left a comment on any chapter to serve as a bookmark. I feel like I may have read the first or first few chapters, but enough of it seems new that I think I must have seen the sequel uncompleted and hoped to wait until it was so I could start and finish all in one go. Needless to say, I couldn't bring myself to hold off on this time around, and I SO love this story so far. I really hope to read more soon. It is just so fantastic. I love the world, your characters, the developing relationships, your storytelling, the action, the romance, the intrigue, the comedy. It's just awesome!

sometimes i remember that you haven't updated this for so long and i get so sad because you are such a talented writer and Calentine is one of my favorite protagonists and just how he interacts with everyone makes me smile soosososmuch. I know that you may have lost interest in Calentine and his General Superior, but I assure you whole-heartedly that there are people like me just waiting with bated breath for the next installment. Oh, Alim.

God I love this story. My love for Alim grows with every chapter. To be honest, I would love for Cale to marry both the general and Alim. Under all that fighting could definitely be more. As for Cale's relationship with the general, or lack thereof, it's getting a bit depressing. After all this time I feel Cale could at least tell him he loves him and that marrying someone else is not ok. Either way I look forward to reading more.

Totes love this series. Really interested in the next bit coming up because we saw that whole scene where Alim describes the Duke as this powerful & incorruptible figure (which struck me as odd when he says one of the reasons he seduced the General was to prove he was just like any other man, although I did understand that Alim was being down on himself & pessimistic at the time). So was this an accidental seduction? Perhaps this time Alim was the one being pursued? Or did he just hoodwink the Duke into a more business-y meeting? Except Alim did mention bedchambers.
