Just In
for The Bride in Black

this could be metaphors for a lot of things but because it's you who wrote the poem, I feel like it describes (very beautifully actually) a forced marriage, the bride's (actually better word would be girl wouldn't it) resignation with the fact (she knew it was coming. her father or uncle or the groom himself would force her to do it eventually), her suffering after words. black is the colour of mourning, she is not only suffering but her life in a way is over. the white at the end is hope of course, but also a new start.

I get it, an unhappy marriage, divorce, and freedom, am I right?
