I do believe that there is a time and place for judgement but that time is after you've gotten to know a person well. You also must judge them with their own morals, not yours. I don't think well of people who call others names like the ones you gave for an example but also think, to convince a person, you must use something that strikes them and their codes of conduct. I could just say life's hard, deal with it on your own but you wouldn't believe it because it's not a teaching you learned. Using the commandments also won't convince Atheists or non-Christians because they don't believe in them.
