Thank you for your story! I sincerely admire how such a supposed difficult setting went about and ended quite graceful if I may say so. I'd say a simple narrative line but still so much work right?
I enjoyed following the characters though I don't really like Alex that much, he is a little bit predictable maybe. Alex is also a worrier but somehow the story leaves clues that he'll be ok so I can't honestly be anxious like he does.. His partner is more curious, mysterious, especially when his reactions are not completely natural and human.
I don't think you can get more in-depth here without disturbing the other parameters of the story.. but in another similar story setting working more to engineer the horror would give bring everything a plus maybe..

I loved Caleb and his "babe" nickname. I was wondering why it suddenly disappeared and thought maybe you had forgotten it. I was very glad to see it back.

This was one of the best stories I've ever read! Everything about it was amazing! Plus I just love shorter semes.
I find the term "babe" or "baby" annoying, but with this story it's really cute.

The story is alright. My only problem getting through it is the fact that it gets very repetitive. 'Walk, fight, injury, dramatic "don't leave me" scene, sleep, nightmares, repeat.' I will try to finish it because I think it has potential and the beginning and summary really caught my interest. It's just a bit boring at times because you seem to just be recycling your old chapters with a few differences. Alot of these chapters just feel like fillers too.. Maybe one day you can revise this and really make this into something amazing. (:
