I stumbled across this and found it of some interest, and proceeded to reading.
The concept here is a good, strong one. One moment can change everything, whether it's gaining everything you've ever wanted or letting it go to waste. Sometimes, friends change suddenly, and the closer they are to you, the more it hurts. I think you summed that up fantastically in the summary.
