Funny that you should come up with this because I have thought about this particular topic quite extensively. And I will say that I definitely agree that option 3 is the wisest answer... However I disagree somewhat with his answer to the question. By saying 'anything about you' I get the feeling he doesn't know why he actually likes you and it makes me think that he just woke up one morning was was all like 'you know what, I'm gonna ask her out just for the heck of it'. But I understand where you come from by saying it means he accepts you fully...
Anyway, I thought this was interesting and although it wasn't very essay-ish, I think it was interesting.
