OMGGGGGG! it is over. I can't believe this. Flawlessly written,captivating emotions. I don't think I can describe how I felt reading this book.I can't wait to read bbok 2 and I am praying it is complete. This book can compete with divergent and beat it hands down. I could not help but be moved by her conflicting desires. Even though I found this book by chance, I am so happy I did not skip it. Thank heavens you did not take it down.

Veronica, how wonderful! I love this story so much. I love the characters in this story and their personality and how they react to things. I love this universe you have created. But I especially love how you write. I love that it's vague so the reader can guess and assume but then you confirm it later. Just like with Elizabeth's plan, we weren't sure what she was going to do but it made it sound like she will follow her master until the end, but she didn't. I love that it lets us peek into weaknesses and strengths and what it looks like to be on the brainwashed side. I'm so happy I found this story because it truly is wonderful. Thank you.

I love how strong Elizabeth is but at the same time she is so weak. I suppose she's growing stronger with the correct feelings. She's realizing that her master isn't the man she thinks he is but at the same time she keeps to some of the rules she learned from him. My heart aches to see her pretending to be who she was supposed to be. It makes me happy to see that she can be so happy but I know it's not a good idea. If she plans to return to her master, she can't act that way! I hope everything goes well.

My theory is that Mikey is also gifted and he has the gift of protecting a place, kind of like a barrier. Jared is really suspicious and I want to know what's his deal. But I like him because he's smart and thinks fast. He knows how to react and what to do to get things going in his favor. Elizabeth should take notes.

It kills me to see that Elizabeth is weak now. Not that there's a problem with her feeling things but I just hate that she's letting her emotions get to her. She won't kill that soldier and she hesitated, I feel like she's so different. I just don't want to see her get hurt because of her bad decisions.

I love this universe you have created. I'm so glad I stumbled upon this story because this is kind of what I've been looking for, for a while now! I love Elizabeth's character because she tries her hardest and she isn't weak, or at least she tries not to be. I love that she detests weak people and I love that she isn't easily manipulated. I hope John doesn't die because he is a good man!

I don't normally write reviews, but after finishing this book in one sitting I think it deserves a review. This book was fantastic, the character of Elizabeth was so three dimensional and human that even when I thought I understood her she would surprise me. I really enjoy the way the site didn't hold you hand, it just nudged you in the right direction without spelling everything out for you. Thanks for a great read!

One of the very few stories I enjoyed so much. It is so well written. The plot is so well thought out and planned, I really like that the smallest details have such strong meaning and relevance, in the way that future chapters refer back to those details, that end up being crucial to the plot development. The characters are so well described and their development felt real and not rushed.
So happy that there is sequel. Definitely buying the paperback book so I can re-read it in the future.

I seriously can't get over just how good this is! Truly one of the best I've read here. Your characters are amazing, I'm glad there's a sequel and maybe there's hope for Adrian ;-) I loved all the action and her gift is amazing and sounds like it's about to get even better. You may want to bump this up to a M rating especially with Lizzie's torture scene. Loved all of it and you made me cry towards the end! ;-)
