You update at the crack of dawn, don't you? lol I am totally bumbed: this chapter is such a cliff hanger!
I believe Zaphier sent someone to rape Paige, because Zaphier's story of Red Rose was mostly true, am I right? He said she was a virgin who was raped by the messenger or something... I am hoping that's not true, but let's find out next week!

Wow...excellent story so far. Stories that make me read past chapter two and keep me up at night are definitely worth something! Lol, havn't read like this in a looong while. You write very well, everything flows, there is perfect balance between description and exposition and action. It doesn't feel bogged down, nor does it feel to fast. Brisk speed, and very interesting and even thrilling. I like the characters. At first I wasn't use to Harrison, and that is because I am used to reading about perfect spick and span characters who can be models. But you made Harrison human, with the good and bad mixed in, and I am warming to him very much. As for Paige, I find her very adorable, without her being a helpless chicken-head who can't do anything and is incredibly weak. No, she has a strong head on her shoulders, and I like how real she is, with all her problems and such. I like your characters a lot, they are true humans, I feel, they have weaknesses and strengths, and I absolutely love characters like that. Not static characters, but characters that change and grow and don't seem shallow. Very good character development in this story.
That being said...I am sooooooo nervous to read up on Paige's past. Anyhoo, I love your story. Keep up the good work!

This story is underrated! I can't believe you only have 42 reviews! It makes me want to go back to the chapters I have just read and comment on all of them!
This is such a unique plot! I have never read anything like it! You are so creative, and you write beautifully! I read that some reviewers complained about him admitting his love for Paige too quickly, but he spends every minute of the day with her. He lived alone for a great deal of time, she's pretty, he owns her and they're always in weird situations. It's bound to happen!
My last class of the week is Thursday! So...I'll be waiting for the update! GET WELL!
