Hoping Pudge can help Ty kick his habit of using acohol to chase off all of his problems.
How does the TA know about the tattoo? Did Pudge show it off? I think it's more innocent than Ty thought.

Great chapter. I feel I understand Pudge's difficulty with affection more now- with mention of his mother's lack. Also, Tyler's character and the Voltaire in 7th grade thing gives him more depth for me- or maybe I'm just shallow.

firstly, I approve of the lotr extended edition marathon,
I love this chapter! finally getting to the start of the relationship oficially and it was really interesting too. I wonder what issues Pudge has, and if he's had a troubled past relationship or something, he's obviously wary of something.
I kinda like the fact they haven't realllly talked about anything about their relationship or anything, they've kinda gone into unspoken but not really knowing much else apart from their emotions. although they're childhood friends, they don't actually seem to know too much about each other. i like it because it provides a more interesting story haha.
Tyler should open his own tattoo studio or become an illustrator or something.

Really enjoyed this chapter. I have to admit I'm surprised at pudge's reaction to Tyler snuggling up to him in bed, and also a little about the whole restrained bedtime routine. It makes me think there may be more heartache to come..

Hmm, I'm curious about where this is going.
They got together but since the story isn't over, I have a feeling major drama is about to happen. And we're still not sure Tyler really got over his alcoholism. I mean, he doesn't drink like he used to but now he's happy-who knows what he's going to do if something goes wrong between him and Pudge.
I'm still super curious about Pudge's personality; he comes across as a little too awkward to me (not a bad thing, ofc). And that scene at the end-I don't know what to think of it. It's like he's really hesitant in his relationship with Tyler and I'm wondering if that's because he feels really strongly about Tyler and is scared of being hurt by those feelings. Hmm.
