Hahaha That last sentence! XD Tyler has got the art of romancing a guy down pat. Way to ruin a moment.
It makes sense that he wouldn't be so quick to let go of his drinking habit and that he's still using it as an emotional crutch but I really want to smack him upside his head and tell him to wake him and get his life straight (ha, not so funny).
And Pudge, you piece of cowardly lovegoo. Remmeber where you lost your balls and pick 'em up because you're acting like a wuss. I get your childhood insecurity did not completely go away but you actually believed Tyler when he told you he didn't love you (utter horseshit). Both of them need to wake up.
I'm having too much fun writing this review that it's a little sad I get off on talking down to imaginary characters

Gotta say: I love Ken. I never really had that kind of sibling support so I always appreciate/envy it when I see it between others.
Tyler's sharp decline into alcoholism feels real and desperate. You hear about how drinking numbs the pain and you don't get it until you go through it, but it makes you lose great chunks of you life and just numbs too much while the hurt just rests there without truly going away. I feel for Tyler and I hope some kind of intervention happens because he's too painful to watch (read?). As much as I would love it if Pudge came to the rescue, it would be much better if Tyler puts himself together on his own and find Pudge. I have a feeling Ken is going to play matchmaking fairy to Pudge and Tyler but who knows?

God, this chapter was so emotionally raw it's painful to read. I can understand the sort of lull Everett and Tyler fell into and why they sticked together although they were all sorts of wrong for each other, but I can't really understand why Tyler said "no" to Aiden when it really mattered. Did he want to tell him on his own terms? He wasn't mentally and emotionally prepared? I'm not sure I get Tyler's logic (or lack thereof). Now things are pretty complicated and I'm curious to see how this plays out. I have a feeling a lot of time is going to pass before they see each other again but I'm sure Ken is going to force Pudge into visiting on holidays at least.

Oh Tyler. You and Everett both need to learn how to build better coping mechanisms and learn how to be strong, independent individuals.
