Ch 5. The Mystery Ends
What an adventure! There's much to cheer about as we watch Lilly figure this all out. My favorite element is how real she feels in how she's proceeding with all this. She's got an amazing ability added to her life - plus getting to living in your creative world where such is possible (which makes her powers both plausible and implausible at the same time. As in, she's got an ability that is fantastic. Yet her world is inhabited by others for whom the fantastic is who they are and this is well known and is treated as the norm by the society of this world.). She's striving to do The Right Thing yet doesn't exactly know how that's to be done. How very much this likely would be, were we to stumble through the same experience. The impediments of both her normal and super lives are complicated, separated and yet intermixed. The relationship she has with Sparkles is dear and sweet, yet also confused. It all adds up to a brilliant tension and an exciting story that is hard to not think about about. I'm left wondering how she will manage her powers, what they might be doing to her, and how she will maneuver through events so as to allow herself to continue what she's after despite the interventions from both Supers and Villains - both of whom possess their own powers and intentions.
The battle with Jet, btw, really grabbed my attention. I was so worried she was going to get dragged away and reduced to nothing by the doctors and shrinks of the "Good Guys" and that Sparkles might be taken away. Also: the moment of "eup eup" was too precious! That, and the dear exchange that ends with "And then shook her head to reveal she didn't get a word I was talking about." It's in the details like this that we really fall into empathy with her. Wonderfully done.

Ch4. The Mysterious Mask
Whooot! Girl on a mission to find a mission. I'm glad she's off to find her own way. I suspect she and Coop are going to get into the thick of things and but soon.
Love your story telling. You add a lot of color (pun, heh) to the dialog and progression - all of which makes this very entertaining. Thanks for writing and thanks for such a fun adventure. :D

Ch.3. The Mysterious Boy
What an adventure! And realistically told. Lilly could strike out into the world in whatever manner she likes. But she chooses to explore, use her new talent, and ends up -well- perhaps making a mistake and later regretting it. How very human! Makes her all that more sympathetic. A moment of anger and she oversteps her nature of how she sees herself. Had shadow boy been in her position, he likely wouldn't have cared. But her underlying true nature comes out by how remorse digs back at her after her misstep. As for the rest of it - it's 100% engaging. Looking forward to more :D

Ch2. The Mysterious Color
There is a moment where I flinched. And from that moment onward, my heart was pounding. Oh, oh! Okay, I admit eye stuff freaks me out - I'm afraid to watch Coreline for this reason - yet what happens at that moment and for the remainder of that scene is magic and, while still creeping me out, is enthralling. And then comes the scene once she's home... again, it arrives in a moment and really grabs. Now I'm sitting up straight with a huge smile, beaming. I love this story! Where and how did you come up with this? I want one - a little alien bunny (but I might need wrap-around sunglasses, 'cause that part gives me the willies), I think. But wait, there's more. More chapters. Lilly's world is like an old painting where the colors have all gone muted - time, neglect, poverty, corruption. Add one little alien bunny and stir... I can't imagine what's up ahead. Can't wait to find out XD

Yowza - Lilly's not even a super-hero yet she's amazing! She's crafty, quick, smart and driven by a desire for more ice cream. Say what? It was SO MUCH FUN to read this and keep up with her. I love how her voice resonates from the narrative. Try reading it out loud -really!- she' got great whits and a relaxed, smooth delivery that's killer. I'm suspecting Jet-sy doesn't realize who he's just met. Lilly's got a lot of spunk. Not much keeping her down - the girl's got drive despite what little she's got going her way.
Thanks for writing! :D I gotta move on to Ch2 to see what on earth is going to happen to her and her new bud.
