I like the premise so far, that he wakes up in a strange place he has no memory of but those people claim to be his grandparents. Something is definitely off about that! At first I was thinking that he was a test subject and that the grandparents were not who they said they were - camouflaged scientists observing their subject or something. Don't ask me why!
I like the introduction of the elemental boy (the concept of his character is intriguing on its own). It is interesting that his body seems so cold but there seems to be a 'fire trapped inside', which makes me wonder if he is cursed or something? Very cool first chapter!
