I wish it was longer and with more details about Malik and Tamara , Kit and Mary, but on its own it was nice the new development in Malik family. Thanks Jan Gordon , I hope you continue to write more on this Black Silk novel. You always live me hungry for more.

I came across this story by accident and I'm glad I did, short but sweet I thoroughly enjoyed it, would have liked this story line as a full novel. Hope to accidentally come across more like this.

Familiar characters, familiar story line. Its great to hear from Malik and Tamara again. Once more you have taking the reader back in history and added a shifter twist to it. Love how it all falls in together. Having red 'Life in the Shadows' and 'Black Silk' I know who and what the shifters are. You have given enough info to remind me of the ins and outs of the series.
The time in history you have chosen to write about is so dark and unhappy, yet you add light and joy into the storyline and make reading enjoyable. Cant wait to read more, I hope there is more, about Sophie and Giri.
One little nit pick. When you talk about Tamara and Malik having an arranged mating? I thought they met by chance? I may just have to go read the whole thing again... including 'Black Silk'

Very good story. I didn't know about Mary Seacole. I really enjoyed this. A short read, but very enjoyable. Thank you for sharing.

Guest. This is a short story and it's complete. There will not be another chapter. However, I hope Giri and Sophie will make another appearance in some future story.
Both Giri and Sophie originally appeared in "Life in the Shadows" which you can find on my profile page. -Jan.

Another fantastic glimpse into your were-panther world. I love the way you seamlessly weave historical fact and supernatural fiction together into a captivating and believable tale. Your research and attention to detail bring the period to life, allowing the reader to immerse themselves in the setting without burying the story line. I hope to read many more stories based on your characters.

I was so excited when I received the notice of a new story from one of my favorite authors. I was and am still in awe of your exceptional talent as a writer. This story, as with all your others, held me captivated and upon finishing it, I was left wonderfully satisfied with also a craving for more. A strange combination I will admit. By explanation, this story is great and I can't wait until you post more.

I felt like I was there, those many years back, surrounded by the sights and sounds of the day. The historical element of this book for me was fascinating and added so very much to the story itself. The author obviously spent many hours making sure all the facts were in place. Would love to read more and more of this wonderful story as the characters are amazing. Never before have I heard of were animals, of course have heard of wolves but this adds a whole new fascinating dimension. Love it!
