Hi there, I quite enjoyed this, it was short and sweet, and I smiled more than once. I really liked how you included translations, they added to the story so much. I loved the imagery of you playing with the child, it was simple but powerful. However, when the other adults arrived the dialogue became a bit muddled and hard to follow. As far as the 'soon' goes, I kind of imagined it was something like a trip or get away type thing. All in all, very fun read.
