Very interesting...I just wrote a poem about nearly the exact same thing...
"once upon a time
in a kingdom not so far far away
not so long ago, really
there was a girl who saw everyone
and everything they hid"
oh well...mine's a bit more freestyle, but that's just my style.
I really do like this. The repetition of walks, speaks, and laughs really sets up a nice structure to it and gives a sense of almost contradiction, yet alignment at the same time.
Absolutely beautiful and spot-on with the feelings; I love this.
(props for introducing me to an awesome song, too — though I think it's the other way around: a popular girl and a boy who sees instead...just going off the fact that the singer is male)
