Oh shit! This was a twist that I definitely didn't see coming! I seriously hope that Nikolai is just messing with her to pay her back for those comments. I mean, yes Katie needs to think before she speaks and yes what she said was wrong and hurtful, but his wolf could seriously injure her. Thank you for the update! I was so excited to see this in my in box! I do hope that you won't leave us dangling from this cliffhanger for too long. This was another awesome chapter! :)

YOU CAN'T DO THAT. Not after we've waiteD so long for an update. Now you are obliged to update again within the week or else you are going to lose all your readers. Seriously NOT COOL.
That being said, you do a wonderful job of crating gray characters that are not all good or bad (Or are goOd but do a lot of stupid things) You have a solid old statis set up for both Nic and kat as well as interesting background stories for the minor characters as well. I'm excited to see what the new statis will be for the both of them.
And truly, you must update incredibly soon. You must.

Seriously! You need to update! I'm-like- dying to read more! Know this isnt much of a review or anything-I do plan on writing a lengthy one once the romance starts(Yeah, I'm once of those people)-but I seriously cannot wait for another update! Jeesh, every time I see a story update in my inbox, I always pray it's your story that's been update. Then the disappointment settles in when I see its not your story (not saying the other stories aren't enjoyable to read...it just feels like forever since you last updated!). Keep up the excellent work! Can't wait to read more!

There's a mistake here, you switch into third person in the middle:
"He was in a better mood, I realized, something akin to discomfort swirling its way around my stomach. After killing two of his own kind, he was now… well **she** certainly wouldn't say he was joking and happy as he interacted with the son of the Sovereigns… "
Other than that, fantastic as usual and seriously can't wait till the next update!

I know it says "not your normal werewolf-human story" in the description but can something happen between Nicolai and Katie? Because Nicolai just seems like he completely hates Katie. Katie just seems like an annoyance, can she provide something as an enforcer?

I'm delighted that you have updated this story relatively quickly. It was an interesting chapter, I thought it started off a bit slow, but certainly maintained my interest and by the end had added an excellent twist to your plot.
