Hey, I almost couldn't believe it, when I saw the E-Mail in my inbox. Already an update, that's so great! I'm looking forward to Nikolais POV, great idea to change the story like this. I think I remember this story now! Sebastian and Nikolai were/are twins? I remembered I loved it and was sad when I didn't see updates for so long. I look forward to this rewrite!

I'm glad you're back and yes I'm willing to stick along :)
I noticed changes from the last version in this chapter
Or at least I did not remember the subtle way Katie's brother tried to convince her to give up the mission. I hope this is a change and that this time there will be a ceremony with a dress because in my memories in the last version the marriage was just signatures on papers and there was no dress involved.
As for the second change - the feeling of being spied - I do not know what to make of it.
Or maybe I just forgot this excerpts
I remembered the talk between Katie, her brother and the Sovereign and I still like it because I think you managed to depict the political situation they are in in a realistic way. Meaning not as a conflict with not a good side vs a bad side but a conflict with as many sides as there are characters, each one with a different agenda, a different way of handling the situation and how far these characters are willing to go to achieve their goal.
That's one of the things I like most in your work, the easy way you have to write a complex diplomatic situation.
I hope you got out of this toxic situations you described,
I'm glad you are still writing and I will still check for updates regularly ;)

Are you planning on posting the following chapters ? Did you have time to update any of them ?
Even if you did not have the time, I wish to hear from you and in the worst case in which you do not plan to resume this story, I hope you would repost the previous chapter from the first version because Dru is one of my favorite stories online and I used to read it regulary (on the metro o my way to work) and now I just have this 2 chapters :(

I'm just a tad sad. Like stories get dropped all the time, deleted, or endless hiatus. I liked Dru and was excited you wanted to start posting again. But after saying you'll update regularly nothing is happening again. You don't owe us anything when it comes to writing, but I would just like a clear idea what the plan is with this story. Are you gonna update it again, will it be on a schedule? Don't make grand promises and get us excited if you are not gonna follow through :( Just say you are dropping it or that updates will be rare or something.
