Hi, sorry, I know it's been awhile, but something happened two days before Christmas, and I wasn't feeling up to reading, or much of anything, but I'm okay now, for the most part.
Now then, about this chapter.
Eryk and Myka are falling in love, and they kissed, at least. I get how Myka feels, but love is love and shouldn't matter if they are both boys, like I said, love is love. And I do like how you got the conflict of one's feelings, especially for both men. Being Bi myself I completely understand this conflict feeling that Myka is feeling. You did it very well. I can and I'm sure others can relate to Myka and how he must feel.
'Denoting passion and adoration, the longing for another that was an ache and a hunger that only the bliss of union could fill.' I like that, that was just beautiful.
I'll try to read and write a review tomorrow.

Hey, sorry I hadn't reviewed in a while, I've been busy with my books and stories, and not just the one's I'm in the middle of rewriting then posting on this site. But I'm gonna try to review this a chapter a day, we're see how that goes. i don't know if you still want to continue with the review restrange, let me know.
This chapter was slow for my taste but that's just my opinion. But I do like how you're building up the characters, which is something I lack, but working on that. I notice that you're concentrating on characters feelings more and more, I like how you do that. The war kind of got me concerned. I'm wondering how certain characters will handle the new situation if there is a war. Guess I'm gonna have to wait and see.

Alright, think it's safe to say that Myka and Freyl DO NOT get along in the slightest. Freyl seems like a OK guy, he did help Myka save that guy in all.
And still love the name Fyrelix.

Eryk and Myka are good together.
The part with the touchingstone with Eryk and Myka was a beautiful moment. It seems like to me Eryk and Myka knows that something is there. I think their connection is deeper then love, and hotter than a flame, and more powerful than passion. It's like their soul's are one.

This chapter cleared up a lot of things that I was kind of confused about. It is a tad confusing going back and forth, but it's not hard to follow if that makes sense?
I do have to agree Ellyryk is a tongue twister, no wonder he shortened It i would have too. But it's a cool name, but Fyrelix is an awesome name. I've read some unusual names but that one takes the gold, love it.
Wish I knew about the name when I got my guinea pig. Ooh, maybe if I got another rat. Yes! My next rat's name will be Fyrelix.
Ohh, is there going to be a love triangle with Myka Eryk and Freyl?
And as for your note at the beginning of the chapter no it's not weird at all, I did the same thing with a fanfiction story that I wrote that I really liked and I turned it into original story.

Aww I really really really like this chapter. I just love how good they are together. They remind me of an old married couple.
And they should totally run away together.

COOL Eryk has powers cool! Freaking awesome! So this isn't just a romance comedy it's also magic! Now this is the kind of story I like! It has the best of everything!
Loving this!
This chapter explained a few things that I was wondering about. Like what happened when Eryk tried to steal the horse, which still was a really stupid move in my opinion. But hey, it shows that he can be childish at times. Can't we all.
I like characters who can be childish it just makes them more funny.
So far my favorite character is Myka. Don't know why, I just like him.

He moved like he disagreed with the whole idea of gravity' I like that.
Poor Eryk, all the poor guy can think about is Myka, man, he's got it bad.
I can't wait when Myka opens his eyes. Ooh, can't wait for the kiss, tell me they kiss?
Now I'm not into love storeys, but I like this one. It's got humor and friendship, and that's what I love about it.
Eryk's mother's sounds really beautiful.
I like how the tension is slowly building up with Eryk and Myka. I think when their friends first then it blossoms into something more just makes it more enjoyable. And when their friends first their love becomes more powerful than a storm.

That was a really long title for a chapter, but I liked it it was kind of funny, a mouthful but funny. At least I think it was supposed to be funny?
I really really like how you describe the sword, I could live to 100 and never successfully write a description like that, not where I could be happy with it anyway. But I digress.
'bloody day of the idiot brats' I like that. I laughed especially hard on that one.
Humm, Freyl seems interesting, though I haven't fully made up my mind about him yet. And if that was my horse there's no way I would let someone ride off with her, Freyl was in his right.
And that boy/girl? Is one brave soul taking on a man like that, if that was me, i would be like 'No way! My bad dude I thought that was my horse, my mistake' then I would be out of there just a pile of dust where I once stood. No way, what is that wild child thinking?

I love this one. I'm wondering if there's something between Myka and Eryk?
And I like how it goes back and forth between the characters thoughts and what's happening. That way you know what's happening and you know what's going on in the character's head, and the way you write it, it's a good balance of both, I like your style of writing. You're style is far different from others that I've read on here, and I like it.
Hell, I might try your style when I feel confident enough to do it.
