Beautiful poem. It reads partly like a poem and partly like a journal entry. The informal tone and mix of straight forward language and imagery give it a great contrast in my mind. It almost seems light and airy (as opposed to dark and brooding) but at the same time the message of the poem conveys, internal conflict, loss, love and aching. The last verse seems weightier than the previous ones and really grounds the whole piece. Very enjoyable read and re-read.
